Setup the any Tibbit with PIC coprocessor in visual LTPS Web Configurator or as described in Configuring TPS Agent:
Currently supported Tibbits with PIC coprocessor are:
The above Tibbits support PWM, Tibbit #31 also support ADC.
After writing settings and reboot LTPS Tibbits tab with subtab PIC will appear:
Data tab controls Tibbits behavior (PWM settings or ADC voltages), Settings tab configures Tibbits' function (PWM or ADC and the frequency of the internal oscillator).
By default Tibbit configured for the PWM function.
For Tibbit #31 ADC function can be selected:
For Tibbit #16 and Tibbit #17 only PWM function is available:
Variable Frequency set the frequency of the internal oscillator (possible values are 32 MHz, 16 MHz and 8 MHz).
3 channels available for PWM:
PWM settings are listed below:
Channel Enable activated or deactivated each of 3 channels.
Pulse Width is defined as the base frequency clock (the frequency of the internal oscillator) count (possible values are 0, 1, 2...1023).
Period is defined as the base frequency clock count (possible values are 0, 4, 8...1023).
Prescaler affects the base frequency (the period is multiplied to the prescaler) (possible values are 1, 4, 16 or 64).
ADC settings for Tibbit #31 are listed below:
ADC based on the voltage generated by PIC's internal bandgap reference, which generates stable reference voltage that is almost not dependent upon the power supply voltage.
Unit for ADC - millivolts, possible values are 0...4000 mV, 4 channels are supported.
A negative voltage is not supported (show as 0 mV).
